Biden Is Hiding This Energy “Boom”

(PatriotPostNews.com) – While President Joe Biden and his administration are seeking to please environmental advocates by demonizing carbon emissions, the left-wing White House is failing to emphasize the reality that oil and gas production in the country has significantly increased.

The rise in production of these goods has left the United States as a top player in the energy market, a truth that Biden’s critics have brought to light. In 2023, the nation had produced a record amount of oil, reaching over 13 million barrels that were produced each day. According to a December report from S&P Global Insights, the United States is producing oil at higher rates than any other country in history. Without limiting the numbers to just oil, more than 21 million barrels of all domestic liquids is being produced each day.

But this information is kept quiet by the Biden administration, which, at the start of the year, launched several initiatives to combat carbon dioxide. These efforts came in the form of promoting natural gas, industrial emissions, and electric vehicles. Despite the mission of the White House, the United States was simultaneously becoming more energy independent.

Republican leaders have long criticized the administration’s approach to environmental issues, including resistance to oil drilling policies and temporarily halting the export of liquefied natural gas. Recently, Alaskan Gov. Mike Dunleavy criticized policies that would impact his state and endorsed Biden’s likely opponent in the upcoming presidential election, former president Donald Trump.

Ian Bremmer, a geopolitical analyst, has also commented on the White House’s silence on the thriving energy production in the nation, calling it the “greatest energy boom you’ve never heard of.” He added that the state of the country’s production has led to America claiming the title of “top energy superpower” across the globe.

However, Bremmer also noted that while the news is “tremendous” for the country, it has not been advertised because it is “politically inconvenient” for both Republicans and Democrats to “acknowledge” or “celebrate.”
