(PatriotPostNews.com) – In March 2024, Homeland Security Investigations raided Sean John Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles homes. Combs is better known as “Diddy.” It was later revealed that the properties were connected to a federal investigation into a human trafficking ring. Combs was not detained, and it is unclear who was the target of the investigation. Homeland Security Investigations confirmed that the search was part of an active case, but did not name any suspects.
Conservative commentator Candace Owens, challenged Combs on X (formerly Twitter) to name the individuals operating the human trafficking ring. Owens posted that she could forgive a lot of Comb’s current controversies if he would “name names.”
Candace Owens recently severed ties with the Daily Wire after she made controversial remarks related to the Israel-Gaza war.
Combs is also facing a number of legal allegations. A male music producer connected to Combs alleges that he was forced to hire sex workers. A number of women have also alleged sexual assault as well as abuse. One woman claimed Combs assaulted her when she was 17 years old. Combs’ lawyer, Aaron Dryer, chastised the media response and claimed the accusations against his client are a “witch hunt.”
In November 2023, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, accused Combs of repeatedly physically abusing her in 2016. Ventura pursued legal action under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which opened a one-year window for abuse victims to file claims from November 2022 to November 2023. Ventura’s lawsuit reached a fast settlement the day after it was filed.
He originally denied the allegations. CNN later released a video of Combs physically abusing Ventura. In an Instagram video, Combs confirmed that the footage was real, added that his actions were unforgivable, and said he took full responsibility.
It is not known if the abuse cases are related to the HSI investigation or the raid of Combs’ properties.
