(PatriotPostNews.com) – On November 17th, 2022, Boston police responded to a call about a baby frozen in a freezer. Officers found four seemingly newborn babies wrapped in aluminum foil and stacked in a freezer. Officers discovered two boys and two girls, all full-term at roughly 40 weeks. Each still had their umbilical cord.
In a statement given by Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden, Hayden confirmed the discovery of four deceased infants but said there was no scientific way to determine if the babies had been born alive. Additionally, due to freezing, it’s impossible to tell how long the babies had been frozen.
DNA tests confirmed that the woman living in the apartment was the mother and that all four were siblings. Reports show that each baby had the same father, however, investigators determined that the father died in 2011. Investigators later discovered a fifth child who was adopted.
The mother of the deceased children is 69-year-old Alexis Aldanir.
Investigators spoke with Aldanir’s coworkers, who said it would have been hard to tell if she was pregnant and described Aldanir as overweight and preferring baggy clothes. During interviews, it became obvious that Aldanir was suffering from psychological distress and struggled to explain who or where she was.
Without a confession from Aldanir, investigators can’t confirm if the babies were ever alive, let alone murdered. Reports didn’t indicate if Aldanir had health conditions that could have caused multiple stillbirths. According to the CDC, black women and women over 35, as well as women with health conditions such as diabetes or who smoke, have significantly higher likelihood of experiencing a miscarriage or stillbirth.
It is medically impossible to determine at what age Aldanir had the children. Aldanir’s race has not been disclosed. As per current reports, there is no known reason why Aldanir would have had four full-term babies that died either shortly before or shortly after birth.
Aldanir has not been charged with any crimes.
