“Yellowstone” Spinoff Actor Disappears After Being Accused of Domestic Assault

(PatriotPostNews.com) – A young TV actor has disappeared following accusations that he was involved in a recent domestic violence attack, according to police.

27-year-old Cole Brings Plenty plays a character on the Paramount+ show “1923.” The series is inspired by “Yellowstone,” another Western drama show featuring Kevin Costner and Plenty’s uncle, Moses Brings Plenty. But young Plenty was reported missing over the weekend when law enforcement declared him a suspect in a domestic violence incident that occurred in Lawrence, Kansas.

Local authorities believe that the actor left the area on Sunday, March 31, following the allegations against him. According to a statement shared on social media by the Lawrence Police Department, police responded to calls that a female was “screaming for help,” but the suspect was gone before they arrived on the scene. However, the department added, “traffic cameras showed” Plenty fleeing the city “immediately after the incident.”

Although law enforcement officials are adhering to state law and sharing limited information about the domestic violence case, they did tell the public that they have submitted an affidavit to obtain an arrest warrant for the young actor. Unless charges are filed against him, the affidavit will not be released to the public, according to an official within the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.

Plenty was first reported missing by his family, who were concerned that he had disappeared without any notice to anyone. A flier depicting him as a missing person says he was last seen on March 31.

The family’s concerns were compounded on April 1, when the young actor failed to show up for an audition he was supposed to have digitally, via Zoom. According to the founder of Phirgun Mair Worldwide—the talent agency that oversees Plenty’s work—he was expected at an online audition on Monday.

Peter Yanke said that he “reached out to [Plenty’s] manager” when he missed the audition. He added in a statement his hope that the actor is “found safe” and expressed gratitude for those involved in the search.

UPDATE: Sadly, it was confirmed on Sunday that the young actor was found dead in Kansas, but that an investigation into what exactly happened is still ongoing.
