53 People Arrested Following Chicago Pride Parade

(PatriotPostNews.com) — A massive brawl broke out at the Chicago Pride Parade that saw over 50 attendees arrested.

Women climbed on top of police vehicles while others got into hair pulling fights with officers. Multiple police were assaulted and numerous attendees were injured. In a separate instance on the same day, a man was shot and hospitalized in Manhattan during a pride parade. In yet another instance, police were attacked without provocation at a pride event in Australia.

The Chicago Pride Parade itself was completely peaceful. The chaos broke out around 1:30 am, on Monday, July 1st. When police approached the scene they were met with violent resistance. Glass bottles and other objects were hurled at officers. One female brawler attacked an officer and reportedly pulled the officer’s hair. Another female climbed on top of a police car and twerked.

The 53 brawlers arrested face charges including aggravated battery against a police officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times during New York City’s annual Pride Parade. The shooting occurred during a massive brawl around 2:00 am, also on July 1st. One attendee said he heard the shots fired, but assumed they were fireworks as part of the event. One petite woman was thrown to the ground by at least two larger women. Roughly 30 individuals were detained. One witness lamented and said pride is about “loving one another” and said “pride is not supposed to be like this.” The gunman has not been identified.

In Melbourne Australia, in February, a brawl broke out after leftists targeted police participating in a LGBT parade. The police were not conducting security, but were LGBT individuals themselves marching in uniform to show support for their LGBT peers. The aggressors wore adult costumes, were covered in fake blood, and covered their faces with pig masks. Attackers held signs that read “ACAB” and “Queers hate you.”
