(PatriotPostNews.com) — President Joe Biden is facing scrutiny from the right-leaning non-profit organization, America First Policy Institute (AFPI), over his alleged attempts to manipulate the voter registration process to help Democrats in the key battleground state of Michigan.
The AFPI wants the Biden administration to hand them over the documents related to the voter registration drives of the Small Business Administration (SBA) in Michigan, claiming that these efforts are intentionally directed to make Democratic victory possible in this crucial swing state.
The SBA is conducting voter registration efforts in the state under Biden’s controversial voting access executive order that forces federal agencies to increase voter participation using taxpayers’ money. Critics suggest that the effort is a blatant attempt to manipulate the electoral process and even distribute voting registration material among noncitizens and illegal immigrants.
Mike Berry, the AFPI executive director for litigation, stated that the SBA is involved in targeting only those demographics in Michigan that are likely to vote blue. Berry accused the Biden administration of intentionally ignoring those counties in Michigan where small businesses are present as they are usually inclined towards the right.
The AFPI is filing a Freedom of Information Request to receive communication documents involving the White House, Michigan officials, and the SBA.
Previously, the documents obtained by another conservative think tank, the Foundation for Government Accountability, revealed that the White House met with multiple left-leaning organizations to discuss the promotion of voting rights among newly naturalized citizens, prisoners and non-English speakers under Biden’s executive order.
Some evidence also suggests that the Biden administration encouraged children of Native Americans to urge their parents to register to vote before the 2022 midterm elections. Native Americans usually support Democrats and are known to help them cross the victory line in important battleground states.
The chairwoman of the AFPI, Linda McMahon, who has previously served as the SBA administrator, argued that federal government employees are not allowed to participate in some political activities under the Hatch Act to ensure the integrity of the government machinery.
