Biden Says Trump Presents A “Greater” Threat In A Second Term

(PatriotPostNews.com) – On Monday, June 3rd, President Joe Biden declared that former President Donald Trump would be a greater threat to democracy in a second term than he was in his first following the 2016 election. Biden doubled down and referred to Trump as a “convicted felon.”

New polls have been released since Trump’s conviction in the “hush money” case. Some polls show up to 50% of voters support the conviction. However, among voters who support the conviction, about 70% believe that the former president should receive only a fine, while less than 50% believe he should receive only probation. Nearly 80% of Republican voters believe that the anti-Trump guilty verdict was rendered in order to damage his political career in the hopes that he would drop out or be imprisoned. The polls were conducted by Morning Consult.

The Secret Service released a statement clarifying that Trump’s conviction has “no bearing” on the service’s mandate to protect former presidents. The Secret Service Chief of Communications doubled down and stated that protective measures will “proceed unchanged.”

While leftists proclaim that Trump is the greatest threat to democracy in recent history, polls show otherwise. During a round table discussion, MSNBC commentators struggled to comprehend a poll conducted by PBS Newshour. The poll showed that the majority of voters believe Biden is a greater threat to American democracy than Trump. Nearly 55% of independents believe that Biden would damage America. One leftist commentator, political analyst Susan Del Percio, described the poll as “shocking” and even admitted that she could not “make sense” of the poll numbers. The poll also showed that nearly 50% of Americans believe Trump’s verdict was more political than judicial.
