Chinese Manufacturers Allegedly Providing Mexican Cartels With Chemicals To Make Fentanyl

(PatriotPostNews.com) – Mexican Cartels are using ingredients sourced from CCP controlled China to develop fentanyl to then be illegally moved into the United States. Chinese manufacturers reportedly do not directly manufacture fentanyl, but they do develop the necessary chemical components for the fatal synthetic opioid. The chemical components are developed in Chinese labs, but the pills that are later sold on the American black market are assembled by Mexican cartels.

Last year, President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping announced an initiative to stem the drug trafficking and illegal fentanyl development, but just seven months later, Chinese production is at normal levels. Now, in July 2024, Biden and Xi Jinping are renewing efforts to combat the fentanyl black market.

Chinese nationals are only legally allowed to transfer $50,000 out of the communist nation per year. Nationals may resort to money laundering to transfer funds into the US.

A Chinese national in the US may post on X or other social media asking for urgent financial support, then an individual from the Chinese black market economy will reach out to the national to arrange a transfer in person. The national’s family, still residing in China, will then transfer the money to a Chinese chemical manufacturer. The requesting Chinese national will then meet with a courier, normally in a public setting, who will hand off a container of cash to the national.

This prevents large sums from visibly leaving China while still funding the Chinese-Mexican illegal drug trade, while also allowing Chinese residents to support Chinese nationals abroad, for good or bad. Parents and families may take advantage of the system to subvert oppressive CCP restrictions such as to pay for college for their child. However, hostile actors can also utilize the well-established US-China money laundering system to further facilitate the illegal drug trade. In June, 2024, the Sinaloa Cartel was linked to Chinese black market groups located within the United States.
