(PatriotPostNews.com) — The right-wing think-tank the Heritage Foundation has crafted an intricate plan that former President Donald Trump could use as a roadmap once he returns to office. The plan, dubbed Project 2025, is not an official plan of former President Trump.
Individuals with close ties to Trump are heavily involved in the plan, including former Trump Administration figures Paul Dans, Spencer Chretien, and Russell Vought. Commentators have referred to Project 2025 as “extremely conservative,” while others have said the plan would “overhaul” the federal government.
Kevin Roberts, a key figure behind Project 2025, said that the county is experiencing a “revolution” and that the revolution can remain “bloodless, if the left allows it.” Trump and his team distanced themselves from Project 2025. Trump asserted that he “knows nothing” about it.
Project 2025 would dismantle “bloated” federal agencies, including the FBI. It would direct funds to complete Trump’s infamous border wall. The plan would shift federal funds from “renewable energy” into oil and natural gas. Project 2025 would remove “woke propaganda” phrases including “diversity, equity and inclusion” and “gender equality” from federal policy.
Trump’s team asserted that the only plan is Trump’s Agenda 47. Agenda 47’s website has not seen a new post since December 22, 2023. The majority of the posts appear to be in response to events during the Republican primary, not overarching federal policy. One goal posted around the same time that liberal universities were experiencing widespread riots was Trump’s plan for “the American Academy.”
Agenda 47 would remove “radicals, zealots, and Marxists” from federal agencies, but does not go as far as Project 2025, which suggests abolishing agencies. Agenda 47 does call for the construction of Trump’s border wall, but it takes things further and calls for federal action “focused solely on combating human trafficking.” Trump’s agenda, like Project 2025, calls for a renewal of US energy independence. Trump’s plan also suggests the removal of phrases like “equity” from federal policy.
