Giuliani Alleged To Have Given Money Intended For Bankruptcy Case To His Girlfriend

(PatriotPostNews.com) — Rudy Giuliani, former New York City Mayor and former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, has been accused of using funds earmarked for his bankruptcy case to pay his employees.

Giuliani owes nearly $150 million to creditors in New York. The creditors are now petitioning for the judge in Giuliani’s case to designate a trustee to take control of Giuliani’s estate. The unnamed creditor group asserts that one woman that Giuliani is paying is not an employee, but Giuliani’s girlfriend, making any payments to her inappropriate and potentially illegal.

Reports, including one court document, have asserted that Dr. Maria Ryan is Giuliani’s “girlfriend.” Giuliani and Ryan maintain that they are not romantically involved. The creditors insist that because Giuliani made payments to his “girlfriend,” he is unfit to manage his debts. Giuliani filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 2023 after he was found guilty of falsely claiming that two Georgia election workers were complicit in voter fraud. Giuliani has been ordered to pay $148 million.

Dr. Maria Ryan and her daughter, Vanessa Fenderson, are both listed as employees for Giuliani Communications, LLC. Ryan is the president of Giuliani Communications, which operates Ryan and Giuliani’s podcast. Court documents cite Ryan as managing advertising and “running the podcast operation.”

Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s chief physical security detail, said in a statement that Giuliani and Ryan are business partners, and not romantically involved. Furthermore, Ragusa asserted that any reports claiming Ryan is Giuliani’s girlfriend are false and dubbed the claims “rumors” created by Guiliani’s “enemies.”

The creditors assert that because Giuliani admits to paying Ryan, even if she is an employee, it constitutes misuse of “estate assets,” and have demanded that Giuliani not be allowed to manage the estate himself. The creditor’s lawyers maintain that debt payments must be made before employee salaries.

In what may be a “bizarre” attempt to generate new income, Giuliani has released an organic line of coffee, “Rudy Coffee.”
