Senator John Kennedy Squares Up Against A Climate Scientist

(PatriotPostNews.com) – Republican Senator John Kennedy lampooned a climate expert for reposting content from a radical “climate justice” group. The group, known as Climate Defiance, encourages people to harass CEOs, politicians, and other elites in the name of saving the world from climate apocalypse. The group claims they only target individuals that they believe are directly responsible for alleged climate change.

In order to join the group, one must sign a pledge that states one is willing to risk arrest in the name of “climate justice.” The group’s mission statement calls for “direct action”.

Kennedy accused climate scientist, Geoffrey Supran, of supporting the radical group. Supran retorted that while he did repost the content, he did not write it. Kennedy fired back, asserting that he wouldn’t have reposted the group’s content if he did not agree with it. Supran again responded that he did not write the posts and suggested that Kennedy was putting words into his mouth and jumping to conclusions.

Supran is an Associate professor at the University of Miami who focuses on alleged climate disinformation and propaganda.

The Climate Defiance group is known for using insulting expletives to harass their targets. Members of the group confronted Senator Joe Manchin and yelled an explicit insult at him. The group also confronted the CEO of Exxon in a similar manner. On another occasion, the group confronted Senator Lisa Murkowski, accusing her of being a murderer due to her perceived anti-climate policies.

The radical group recently joined the Biden Administration’s Clean Energy Czar, John Podesta, for an exclusive meeting to discuss ways that the administration can appease the extremist group. Just days before the exclusive meeting, the group had gathered at a DC fundraiser gala to hurl insults at the attendees, including Senator Murkowski, who was accused of being a murderer.

John Podesta is scheduled to meet with his Chinese counterpart this month to discuss “climate cooperation” between the two nations.
